Aqua bags absorb impact in a way traditional heavy bags do not. Coaches scale every round to your level. Real strength training, real cardio, no sparring, no contact, no max lifts. Members in their 50s, 60s, and 70s train here every week.
Water-filled bags sway and absorb impact. Wrists, shoulders, and elbows do not take the punishment that traditional heavy bags deliver.
Strength rounds use dumbbells and bodyweight. No Olympic technique pressure, no powerlifting numbers to chase. Real strength built without injury risk.
Modify any round. Take a knee any time. The 45 minutes scale to your conditioning, not the other way around.
Coaches with martial arts and fight-industry backgrounds. They watch your form, not the clock. They will correct you before you hurt something.
Renew Active, Silver & Fit, Active & Fit accepted. Plus HSA/FSA via Truemed. Your wellness benefit probably already covers it.
The combination of music, dark room, real punches, and real exertion does something that gym cardio does not. Members report better sleep inside the first month.
“I have been coaching boxing for 22 years. The workout was excellently instructed. Just enough technique instruction to enforce good form without ruining the flow. Welcoming, motivating, and unintimidating.”
Yes. We have members in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. The aqua bag absorbs impact in a way traditional heavy bags do not, which protects wrists, shoulders, and elbows. Coach scales every round to your level. No sparring, no contact, no max lifts.
Tell your coach before class. They give you modifications for the strength rounds and adjust how you work the bag. Many members train through joint issues. Always clear with your doctor first if you are recovering from anything serious.
Unlikely. Our morning classes have a strong mix of ages 40 through 70+, and evening classes have plenty of 50+ members too. We are not a 20-something-only studio.
No. Come as you are. Most members start out of shape and improve from there. The class scales to you.
Take a knee. Drink water. Get back in when you're ready. Nobody watches. Coach is happy you're in the room.
The room is loud and dark by design. If sensory load is a concern, the front row near the door is the quietest part of the studio. Let coach know and they will seat you well.
Workout clothes you can move in. Cross-trainers or flat-soled sneakers (avoid running shoes with thick cushion). Bring a water bottle. Gloves are loaned free; hand wraps optional.
We participate in Renew Active, Silver & Fit, and Active & Fit. Check your plan benefits to confirm. We also accept HSA/FSA via Truemed (~30% savings, $20 one-time fee).
Yes. We run morning classes at 5:30am, 7am, and 9:30am most weekdays, plus late-morning weekend classes. Check the live schedule on the homepage for this week.
Start with the 3-classes-for-$49 intro. Arrive 20 minutes early and tell your coach it has been a while. They will walk you through it. The class will meet you at whatever fitness level you bring through the door.
