Most people walking in for their first Rumble class have never thrown a punch before. You will not be the only beginner. Coach walks the room through stance, jab, cross, hook, and uppercut before round one starts. Gloves loaned free. No contact. No surprises.
Forty-five minutes. Ten rounds. Half boxing, half strength. Here is the literal sequence, start to finish.
Arrive, sign your waiver, meet the team. We give you a quick tour, fit your gloves, and walk you through the basics one-on-one.
Pick a bag. Coach checks in with the whole room. Music turns up. Lights drop.
Dynamic warm-up. Movement prep. Coach demos stance and the first combo. You shadow-box for a minute. Confidence is starting to build.
Alternating bag rounds and floor strength rounds. Coach calls combos. You hit the bag. You drop to the floor for dumbbells or bodyweight. Repeat. You will be sweating by round 3.
Same pattern, harder. By round 8 your forearms feel real. By round 10 you are surprised you made it. Coach finishes the room with a brief stretch.
Most people are buzzed for the next 2 hours. Some immediately ask about their next class. Some take 24 hours to text a friend about it. Either way, the door is wide open.
“As a plus size woman who doesn't usually feel welcome in this sort of boutique fitness studio environment, I had the absolute best time and workout of my life. My trainer JP was so upbeat and encouraging, which made everything feel so achievable.”
“I hadn't been to a kickboxing class in over 3 years and let me tell you I was scared. The team was there to help get me back to feeling good. I immediately signed up to become part of the Rumble family.”
“Lindsay made the class fun and not so intimidating for a beginner. I struggled lol but it was great, I'll be back.”

Coach walks the room through stance, jab, cross, hook, and uppercut. You learn the basics together with everyone else, then the music starts and round one begins. By round 3 you'll feel like you actually know what you're doing.
Workout clothes you can move in. Sneakers, ideally flat-soled or cross-trainers. Avoid super-cushioned running shoes. Bring a water bottle.

No. Come as you are. Modify any round. The class scales to you. Members start in every shape and improve from there.
Tell your coach before class. They give you modifications for the strength rounds and adjust how you work the bag. Always clear with your doctor first if you're recovering from anything serious.
Take a knee. Drink water. Get back in when you're ready. Nobody watches. Coach is happy you're in the room.
Probably sore the first 2 or 3 classes, especially in muscles you don't usually train. Soreness fades fast as you adapt. Most members stop being sore around class 4 or 5.
20 minutes early. We give you a tour, fit your gloves, walk you through the basics one-on-one, and answer any question. After your first class, 5 to 10 minutes early is plenty.
